The 2014 Hyundai Equus makes for an excellent contender in the fullsize sedan class. With 2 trims on offer, the Hyundai Equus has a base MSRP of $61,250, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $68,500, competing directly with the Lexus LS 460, the Jaguar XJ, and the slightly inexpensive Chrysler 300 SRT8. Only a 5.0L V8 that produces 429 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque engine is offered, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, the Equus maintains a combined fuel economy of 18 MPG.
