Overview

The 2011 Honda Fit Hatchback is a subcompact hatchback offered in 2 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $15,100. For that price, it mainly competes with the Ford Fiesta Hatchback and the Nissan Versa Hatchback. Between 2 trims, the Fit offers a single powertrain. It is a 1.5L Inline 4 engine making 117 horsepower and 106 lb-ft of torque. However, there is a choice between a 5-speed automatic transmission and a 5-speed manual transmission. The Fit reaches 60 mph from zero in 9.5 seconds on its base engine, Depending on the transmission, the Fit can manage a combined fuel economy between 29 and 30 mpg depending on the transmission. While we’re on the topic of choices, the 7 striking colors the Fit comes in really pull you towards itself.

Buying Advice

While the base 2011 Honda Fit is a good value hatchback, we believe it's the Sport trim level that is actually the bang for the buck. Available at an MSRP of $16,860, this trim offers improved standard features and optional features. You can expect features such as shift paddles, fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a six-speaker sound system for standard features. While optional features include- a navigation system with a touchscreen interface, voice controls, and steering-wheel audio controls.

I personally love my Honda fit because it is great on gas mileage. I average around 34 miles per gallon. I've had it for almost 15 years over 200,000 miles. driven and I've only had one problem with routine maintenance.
