The Bugatti Chiron comes at a price of $3 million. There are three trims that come with the new Chiron. These are the base Chiron, Chiron Pur SPort, and Chiron Super Sport. The Chiron comes with a number of features like a power-adjustable steering wheel, power-adjustable heated seats, power-adjustable and heated wing mirrors, rearview camera, and parking sensors. Additional standard features include LED ambient lighting, adaptive and height-adjustable suspension with an active rear wing, in a C shape, and a cooled glovebox. Options include a pair of miniature sunroof panels. Sadly, advanced driver-aids and blind-spot monitoring are not available.

The information regarding standalone optional features and packages is yet to be determined for the 2022 Bugatti Chiron.

The 2022 Bugatti Chiron comes with an 8.0L quad-turbo W16 engine. This powertrain can produce 1,578 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. The straight line performance, for which the Chiron was already famous, is now more enhanced. Ferdinand Piech is the person who was given the task of tuning Veyron. For the new version of the Chiron, Piech was again called to make the car an engineering marvel. The car is delightfully responsive when the pedal is pushed down. The quad turbo engine delivers the power when you need it the most. This helps the car to reach the 60 MPH mark in just 2.2 seconds. It completes its quarter mile timing in 9.4 seconds.

The 2022 Bugatti Chiron offers more power as compared to the McLaren Speedtail. The Jesko Attack offers the same power as the Chiron. The torque output of the Chiron is the best out of all the rivals. The Chiron is also the quickest of all and surpasses both the Jesko Attack and the McLaren Speedtail as per their 0-60 MPH mark. The top speed of the car is 305 MPH, and the composure at this speed is unrivaled in Chiron.

2022 Bugatti Chiron Ride and Handling

The 2022 Bugatti Chiron comes with an adaptive and height-adjustable suspension. This helps in the overall stability of the car. This is further improved with the help of various vanes and strakes, flat underbody, front diffusers, and the massive rear diffuser. The lightweight carbon fiber monocoque offers excellent torsional rigidity. The new Chiron is more agile and imparts more confidence to the driver. The five drive modes of the car help the car to further customize its performance delivery to get the most out of it. The low stance profile of the car curbs the body roll almost completely. Furthermore, it is not just a track-oriented car, but it also manages well in traffic too, thanks to its apt damping and steering response.

2022 Bugatti Chiron Braking Performance

The 2022 Bugatti Chiron comes with carbon-ceramic disc brakes on all four of its wheels. The braking technology used in the car is directly from a Formula 1 race car. With a minimal nosedive, its braking mechanism brings the car to a halt without any jitters or jerks. There are eight-piston up front and six-piston at the back which were made of titanium. This curbs the heating during a case of abrupt braking. The brakes of such a car can last up to 50,000 miles. The exact information regarding the size of brake rotors is yet to be determined for the new Bugatti Chiron.

The data for the Bugatti Chiron, and McLaren Speedtail is yet to be determined. The Koenigsegg Jesko Attack is significantly lighter as compared to the Chiron, which contributes to the overall momentum while cruising at high speed. However, the braking mechanism of the Chiron is much more advanced as compared to the other two rivals. The stopping distance data is not yet available for the Chiron and the Jesko Attack.

As per the official EPA figures, the 2022 Bugatti Chiron offers 9 MPG of city fuel economy. This is increased to 14 MPG on a highway. The combined fuel economy of the Chiron is 12 MPG. The car comes with an enormous fuel tank of 22 gallons capacity. The overall range of travel of the car is 198 miles and 308 miles with a full fuel tank. The recommended fuel type is 98-octane gasoline. Moreover, at full tilt which is around 261 MPH, it will take Chiron 9 minutes to drain out its complete fuel tank. This is around three minutes less than the Veyron.

The 2022 Bugatti Chiron offers worse fuel economy when compared with the McLaren Speedtail. This is the case in both cities and highways. Fortunately, the Chiron comes with a larger fuel tank capacity than the Jesko Attack and the Speedtail. The MPG figures of the 2022 Jesko Attack are yet to be determined. The cabin dimensions of the Bugatti Chiron, Koenigsegg Jesko Attack and the McLaren Speedtail are not yet available for comparison. Quality wise, it is difficult to pick one out of the three, but we led the interior styling of the Chiron the most. However, the Speetail and the Jesko Attack come close in terms of the design. If you are someone that prefers a bit more aggressive cabin, then Jesko Attack will suit you more.

The exact measurements of the infotainment system of the 2022 Bugatti Chiron are yet to be determined. The sound system is powered by Accuton. It is a brand that is well known for delivering high quality sound outputs, especially inside automobiles. The tweeters inside the car get diamond lining, which gives us a hint of luxury. The cabin features membrane zones which are further regulated by the mid range speakers present inside the car. The Bugatti Chiron is slightly more expensive as compared to the 2022 Koenigsegg Jesko Attack. The Chiron’s performance in this segment is almost unmatched. The straight-line cruise of the car is quick and exhilarating. It’s not that the Jesko Attack is subpar with its track performance, but the Chiron is more reliable when it comes to performance-oriented tests. On the inside, we vouch for the Chiron’s design. The Jesko Attack’s cabin feels too aggressive, and almost appears kiddush at times.

2022 Bugatti Chiron vs 2022 McLaren Speedtail

The 2022 Bugatti Chiron is much more expensive as compared to the McLaren Speedtail, and that too by almost a million dollars. The engine of the 2022 Chiron is more performance-oriented as compared to the V12 powertrain of the 2022 Speedtail. It is more powerful and delivers more torque as compared to its rival. The Chiron is also quicker and leads in terms of acceleration by reaching the 60 MPH mark in less time than the rival. The Speedtail covers more range of travel than the Bugatti Chiron. 

The 2022 Bugatti Chiron gives you performance, speed, and that too with luxury. The engine is powerful enough to make your drive full of thrill and excitement. The adaptive suspension makes the drive go like a breeze. It helps to avoid any small bumps that might come down the road. It is even stable and composed in traffic. Teh interior is premium and comfortable. However, it misses out on some of the drivers aids. On the outside, the Chiron’s look is itself a style statement and it is enough to make the spectators woo. It’s a safe car as well as it comes with most of the protective features needed. As per us, the 2022 Bugatti Chiron is surely a recommendation.
