BMW offers the 2021 i3 in a couple of trims- i3 and i3s. Both the models come in RWD drivetrain and single-speed auto transmission but with the i3s you get a significant power boost. There is quite a generous amount of standard features, but when you get the i3s you get better features like Sport suspension and SPORT driving mode with adapted sport driving pedal behavior. The 2021 BMW i3s is priced at $3000 more and you get a more powerful and efficient electric motor, sport suspension, bigger alloys, and many more. However, the i3 comes with comparatively better looks and standard features, a smaller body, and is lightweight. The 2021 Hyundai Kona electric is the clear winner here. Firstly, it is way cheaper than the i3. Secondly, it offers a very good power output and performance. And the Kona looks like a futuristic EV with an exemplary design language, with great exterior looks and a sleek interior. In addition to that, the Kona offers the best mileage in the segment and a large cargo trunk.

2021 BMW i3 vs 2021 Nissan Leaf S Plus

It’s a matter of taste here. You can either go with the BMW or the Nissan. The BMW has a more appealing exterior and the cabin looks futuristic and sleek. In the performance section, though it misses out on power it offers comparatively better mileage than the Nissan.
