Comparative Analysis against Competition

The 2021 model year of the Audi S7 Sportback received some minor upgrades from the 2020 model year and is expected to be the same in 2022 as well. So, do not expect any major changes to the car. However, the 2022 Audi S7 Sportback is all set to outclass its competitors in the market. Some of its main competitors include the likes of the Porsche Panamera 4S, Mercedes AMG CLS 53, and Lexus LS 500 F Sport.

Features

As the typical Audi trim game goes, we would see two trim levels namely, Premium Plus and Prestige. For the 2022 iteration, Audi chose to improve the features on the Premium Plus trim by offering many tech-savvy features as standard. Though Audi hasn’t revealed exact price figures, we may expect the Premium Plus trim with a sticker price of $85,600.

Fuel Economy
7.0/10

It is not wise to expect an outstanding gas mileage from a sports sedan. However, the 2022 Audi S7 Sportback does a decent job in this department. It provides roughly around 18/28/22 mpg on city/highway/combined. It has a 19.3-gallon fuel tank which will be enough to ride 424 miles between each fillup.

Interior
9.5/10

The interior of the S7 Sportback looks like a typical Audi. The interior of the car is easily recognizable as it matches with most of the other cars from the brand. The interior is made with upscale materials. The space in the front is sufficient so taller folks won’t find any issues. The dashboard design is similar to that in the A7 and is covered in soft-touch material. All the AC vents and the control buttons are finished in chrome accents. Some small bits of wooden trims here and there make it more premium. The steering wheel is very light and smooth.

The buttons on the steering wheel are nicely arranged and are very straightforward. The S7 Sportback seats 5 people in two rows. The front seats are cushioned and are very comfortable. Cloth seats are expected to come as standard which can be upgraded to leather seats. The armrest is wide and comfortable for both the driver as well as the passenger. The space towards the rear is sufficient. Overall the entire interior of the 2022 Audi S7 Sportback is expected to feel premium and more futuristic.

Exterior
9.5/10

The 2022 model year for the Audi S7 Sportback will have the same sense of style as that of the 2021 model year but with some minor upgrades. The wheels will be changed from 20-inch to 21-inch.

The exterior of the S7 is one of its biggest selling points. The front bumper has a sinister look with chrome accents all around. The biggest highlight of the S7 Sportback is the full LED HD Matrix headlamps and taillamps with a unique animation that has a style of its own.
