Engine and Performance
9.5/10

The 2023 Audi S7 comes with a 2.9L V6 powertrain which makes 444 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft of torque. The car was offered with a V8 powertrain a few years back, but the brand didn't compromise on power output with its new V6 engine. Moreover, it offers 82 horsepower more than the Audi A7. Standard AWD is available with the Sportback along with 8-speed automatic transmission. Despite shifting smartly, the 8-speed automatic cannot change gear quite as quickly as the predecessor's 7-speed dual-clutch. The Sportback reaches the speed of 60 MPH in 4.1 seconds from a standstill.

The torque output for the S7 and the LS 500 is the same, which is more than that of the GT43 and the Panamera. Among the four rivals, the Panamera reaches the 60 MPH mark the quickest, followed by the S7 and the GT43. Similarly, the Panamera leads the S7 in terms of quarter-mile timing. 2023 Audi S7 Ride and Handling

The ride remains to be composed and cushioned while driving. The adaptive air suspension and the gas-pressurized shock absorbers with the Premium Plus trim absorb any undulations over the road. The electronic power-assist speed-sensing steering gives accurate feedback and suits its sports sedan profile. The body roll remains to be minimal due to the presence of the front and rear anti-roll bars. However, the weight of the car can be significant at times as it is 132 pounds heavier than the last edition. The stability and the handling of the car are further enhanced because of the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system and the Driveline Traction Control.

2023 Audi S7 Braking Performance

The 2023 Audi S7 comes with vented disc brakes on all four of its wheels. The brake pads last about 35,000-75,000 miles depending on the drive. Furthermore, the 2020 edition of the Audi S7 stopped covering 127 feet while cruising at 60 MPH speed. Additional braking features are Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist, Hill Hold Control, and Electric Parking Brake.
