Overview

The 2016 Audi S7 Sportback makes for an excellent contender in the midsize hatchback. With standalone trim on offer, the Audi S7 Sportback has a base MSRP of $82,900. It competes indirectly with the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Sedan. Only a 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Together, they produce 450 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, the S7 Sportback maintains a combined fuel economy of 21 MPG. Audi offers the S7 Sportback in 12 stunning colors, with the Glacier White Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

To upgrade the S7’s performance, get the optional Sport Package for $3,500. Also, don’t forget the Driver Assistance Package that adds a number of driving and safety aids for $2,450. For heated steering wheel and heated back seats, the Cold Weather Package is given for $500.
