Overview

The 2013 Scion xD Hatchback makes for an excellent contender in the subcompact hatchback class. With two trims on offer, the Scion xD Hatchback has a base MSRP of $15,745. It competes directly with the Ford Fiesta, the Mitsubishi Mirage, and the Honda Fit. Only a 1.8L Inline-4 engine is offered, mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 128 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 8.4 seconds, the Scion xD maintains a combined fuel economy of 29 MPG. Scion offers the xD Hatchback in 9 stunning colors, with the Blue Streak Metallic with 2-Tone Black Roof being a particular favorite of ours.
