The Pagani Huayra is equipped with an insanely powerful Mercedes-AMG engine. The V12 has a 6.0L capacity and it is throned in the middle with a twin-turbocharger that enables it to produce 720 hp of power and 738 lb.-ft of maximum torque. Most hypercars use a dual-clutch automatic transmission but the Huayra has a 7-speed Sequential Manual Transmission instead. It allows the model to have lighter curb weight but has to settle for being a vehicle that is less than a full second shy of gaining the ten-second tag. The power is delivered to the rear wheels making the rivals envy its accuracy on the road. The top speed of 224 MPH is incredible and hard to match but the safety guidelines make the Huayra illegal in the US.

Although the base price of the Koenigsegg is much higher than the rest of the competitors, the fact that each unit of the Huayra is customized, can simply make the final cost much higher. The LaFerrari has the largest engine and offers the second-highest power and torque output. The Agera RS is way ahead in generating power and maximum torque and it also has the highest top speed of 249 MPH. The LaFerrari leads the way with the fastest acceleration followed by the P1. The Pagani Huayra takes about 10.9 seconds to cover a quarter-mile distance while all its primary rivals belong to the sub-ten-second car category.
Ride and Handling
Handling dynamics of the Pagani Huayra are something the car is hailed for and it is certainly among the best in the market. The pedals are more accurate than you can imagine and the response is brilliant. The steering behaves like it is having a conversation with you and is able to understand exactly what you want it to do. The Pirelli tires provide the smoothest performance even at top speed. With active aerodynamics and active suspensions, the Huayra moves closest to the ground offering the best ride quality for the passengers. The driver, having full control over the vehicle, can accelerate more confidently and take the turn without much hesitation. The comfort is as good as it gets, making the ride enjoyable and helping feel the thrill of the hypercar.
Braking Performance
A car with the caliber of Huayra is only as good as its braking system. Incredible acceleration and immense power must be complemented by top-class brakes and the Pagani does exactly that. The Brembo brakes with racing pads and carbon-ceramic discs deliver excellent stopping power. The pedals are smooth and respond immediately to offer the best performance. Even at a very high speed, the braking feels effortless making the Huayra one of the most reliable supercars in its segment. The lighter weight of the body has a significant part to play here as well.

The Pagani comes with 15-inch rotors on both ends. The LaFerrari comes with the largest rotors in the front with 15.7 inches while the P1 has slightly larger rotors than the Pagani. On the rear, the Koenigsegg is tied with the Ferrari and Pagani with a figure of 15-inch rotors. However, the Ferrari weighs more than the Agera and comes to a stop from 60-0 in just 90 feet. This makes the braking performance the best for the Ferrari. The Pagani, having a lighter body, offers impressive braking as well.
