The 2024 Mini Hardtop 2 Door makes for an excellent contender in the subcompact luxury hatchback segment. With three trims on offer, the Mini Hardtop 2 Door has a base MSRP of 25,800, with prices going all the way up to an MSRP of $33,200, competing directly with the Toyota GR86 and the Volkswagon Golf GTI. Only a 1.5L turbocharged inline-3 engine is offered, mated to a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission. Together, they produce 134 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 7.6 seconds, the Mini Hardtop maintains a combined fuel economy of 31 MPG. Mini offers the Hardtop in 4 stunning colors, with the Chili Red being a particular favorite of ours.

The 2024 Mini Hardtop is a standout option in the subcompact luxury hatchback segment, with its lightweight nature and modern retro design making it a fun and unique driving experience. The engine may not feel the most powerful but the agility of the car makes up for everything. However, it’s not perfect as the suspension setup is on the firmer side which makes long rides a bit uncomfortable also the cabin is not particularly spacious. However, if you like the distinctive style and great driving experience, you cannot go wrong with the 2024 Hardtop.
