The 2024 Mini Cooper Convertible S makes for an excellent contender in the subcompact luxury convertible. With only one trim on offer, the Mini Cooper S convertible has a base MSRP of $38,400, which can be easily increased with available customization options, competing directly with the BMW 228i, the Audi A3 Cabriolet, and the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. Only a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine is offered, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 189 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 6.6 seconds, the Mini Cooper S Convertible maintains a combined fuel economy of 31 MPG. Mini offers the Cooper S Convertible in 8 stunning colors, with the Island Blue Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

There are plenty of customization options available from the factory which is a good thing but it can very quickly up the price tag of the vehicle. There is a limited amount of space in the cabin and the ride quality can be stiff for some of the people. With a six-speed manual option available the Mini Cooper S Convertible is for those people who want to feel everything happening outside the car while driving.
