The 2018 Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 43 SUV is a proud member of the midsize SUV segment, locking horns with cars like the BMW X5 xDrive 50i, the Porsche Cayenne, and the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SE. With just one trim, the AMG GLE 43 starts off at a base price of MSRP

$67,750. Its 3.0L turbocharged V6 engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission give

the SUV 385 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. With that, it manages a 0-60 of 5.6 seconds and boasts a towing capacity of 7,200 pounds. Moving to fuel economy, the AMG GLE 43 manages to get a combined EPA rating of 19 MPG, a poor number for the class, giving its rivals an edge. It also has a ground clearance of 7.2 inches.

The Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 43 is a high-performance version of the regular GLE that takes the sweet spot between the base version and the most extreme GLE 63 AMG.
