- Issue with the car’s ground wiring
Issue with the ground wiring is a common problem found in most of the Lincoln Navigator models. The ground wiring connected to the battery and coolant gets shrink-wrapped triggering the chance to catch under-hood fire. The user complaint also included the plastic shrink-wrapping meltdown under a hot engine might catch fire. Such instances may trigger fire ignition, and significantly increase the chances to set the whole car engine under fire. Such issues need to be addressed and rectified soon.
- Electrical shot-circuit stopping the wiper from functioning properly
User complaint includes an electrical short in the ECU that might stop the visibility wiper to function properly causing inconvenience to the driver to view the objects appearing on the front. Such issues may lead to poor visibility increasing chances to trigger road accidents while driving in snowy weather.
Miscellaneous Problems
User complaint registered on the NHTSA website also mentions that the car parts are sometimes not available to undertake a recall causing sufficient discomfort for not being able to resolve the issue soon.

Dealers will be inspecting the problem and are going to replace the battery junction box if needed by removing a ground wire. The dealers are also instructed to install an auxiliary electrical box with a wire jumper. Repairs will be performed for free of cost.

Should You Buy the 2021 Lincoln Navigator?
The Navigator has been truly trustworthy family SUV for many people for years. It was not really possible for the Navigator owners to instantly shift their reliance to any of its close rivals so easily, when the 2021 Lincoln Navigator’s ground wiring issues, faulty electrical problems and and damaged doorside impact sensor problems showed up and a recall was made against these problems.
