The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is one of the odd-looking EV cars, but somehow it works in its favor. The good point is that it offers very good features across the trim lineup. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 interior gives a peep into Hyundai's future EVs with the use of sustainable materials all over the cabin. Despite being a full-fledged BEV, Hyundai's warranty coverage of 10 years or 100,000 miles on the powertrain and high-voltage battery is phenomenal.
The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is offered in four trim configurations: SE Standard Range, SE, SEL, and Limited. The prices for the above-mentioned trims with RWD configuration start at $41,650, $45,700, $47,250, and $53,350, respectively. However, the price of all the trims except the SE standard Range trim will increase with the available AWD configuration. Also, a destination fee of $1,335 is levied as a destination fee.
The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE Standard Range can be financed for a very low APR of 0.99% for a term of 48 months. It can be leased for a term of 36 months, with $343 per month and $5,008 due at signing the lease agreement. Currently, Hyundai is also offering a complimentary Level 2 home charger and up to $600 in installation credit if you purchase or lease the 2024 Ioniq 5. However, currently, the Ioniq 5 2024 is sold only in certain states across the United States.
The Ioniq 5 can be powered by three different powertrain configurations: single-motor RWD, single-motor RWD (more power), and dual-motor AWD. The first setup is offered with the Standard Range trim and offers an output of 168 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. With the SE, SEL, and Limited trims and a bigger 77.4 KWh battery pack, the power output rises to 225 hp while the torque output remains the same. Opt for the dual-motor setup, and it generates 320 hp and 446 lb-ft of torque.
The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 0-60 time of 7.4 seconds with RWD and a larger battery pack is decent. However, the real fun comes with the AWD, as the Ioniq 5 0 to 60 time reduces to 4.5 seconds. If all that sounds too slow to you, wait until you see the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. It will boast up to 641 hp and an 84 KWh battery pack, making it a direct competitor to the 2024 Kia EV6 GT. In the J.D. Power Consumer Rating, the Ioniq 5 scored an overall 75/100 last year, which can be termed average. We hope the same improves for the 2024 model year.
