Part of the fullsize pickup truck segment, the 2011 Ford F-250 SuperDuty Regular Cab competes with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Regular Cab, the GMC Sierra 2500HD Regular Cab, and the RAM 2500 Regular Cab. A base price of MSRP $28,715, gets you a 6.2L V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Despite the price going up to $35,025, this single powertrain is found in both trims available. This engine produces 385 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, achieving a 0-60 of 7.1 seconds, and is offered as both RWD and 4WD. The Ford F 250 SuperDuty offers a single 8.1 feet cab with a payload capacity of 2,780 pounds. It also offers a healthy towing capacity of 13,800 pounds.

Buying Advice

You get to choose between just two trims in the F-150 SuperDuty Regular Cab. The base trim is essentially a work truck making the top-level XLT trim the real deal here. Some significant features in the XLT trim are cruise control, heated outside mirrors, full power accessories, keyless entry, and plenty of other modern features.
