Overview
The world is moving towards electrification and while we would love to hear the rumble of the V8 engines from our favorite Dodge Charger and Challenger, sadly they too are going in the same direction. That said, look at the specs and we are sure that it will get your heart revving similar to the 2023 model year. The 2024 Dodge Charger Sedan carries all of its qualities forward in a true electric guise. Check out the video below by "Future Drive" for all that is expected from the 2024 Charger.
Prices are expected to start off at an MSRP of $50,000, and go all the way up to $90,000 for the Charger SRT Banshee, Dodge will offer you 3 trims for the Charger. The base Charger 340 gets a 455 hp while the Charger 440 gets a 590 hp power output. With this, you have 500 miles of range and should get AWD drivetrain as well. The second powertrain comes with an 800-volt architecture for the SRT model, and that's all that has made its way out.ÂÂ
In other news, unlike the outgoing model, the Dodge Charger 2024 is going to be a 2-door model with a liftback trunk, and might also get a 4-door sedan as well. For the price, it competes with the Tesla Model 3, and the Polestar 2. The official release date is yet to be out yet but we expect it to happen by the end of 2023. The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT will also gain an electrified powertrain and will kickstart the electric muscle car segment later next year.
