Electrical Problems 

• AC – Both the AC actuators stopped working at the same time and it was found that this issue was intermittent. The frequency of this happening increased and the dealers confirmed that the AC compressor was going weak and needed a replacement.
• Instrument cluster – The Users noticed the cluster stopped working and functions like the TPMS and fuel monitoring were unavailable. The dealers were contacted and they stated that it was happening due to a software glitch that needed to be reprogrammed.
• Key fob – The user reported that the key fob failed to lock or unlock the doors and it had to be manually done in order to get in and out of the car. The user suspected a poor button but that wasn’t the case and a whole new key fob had to be reprogrammed to the vehicle.

Mechanical Problems 

• Engine – The users were finding it difficult to move the car as it failed to respond when the gas pedal was depressed. The dealers stated that there has been an official word from Chrysler stating that the oil filter housing has a design flaw that does not let it withstand the engine heat, leading it to warp and crack. This leads to a severe oil leak that can cause multiple issues in the car.
• Fuel system – Users were able to smell fuel in the cabin and also noticed leaks near the right wheel well. After the inspection, the fuel filter was found to have a crack and that is what was causing the fuel leaks.
• Powertrain – The gear selector was frozen at times and fails to even move. The entire module needed a rebuild and that solved the issue.
• Steering – User claimed the power steering cut the power off intermittently and it was recognized as a steering pump issue that needed a quick repair.

Safety Problems 

• Airbags – The airbags failed to deploy in multiple accidents, leaving the occupants injured. This was an issue caused due to a faulty airbag module.

Exterior Problems 

• Doors – The door panel guards are made to last but unfortunately, they came off while driving just within 3 months.
• Sunroof – The sunroof exploded when driving and the dealers had no explanation as it broke without getting in contact with any objects.
