The 2018 BMW 2 Series Coupe is a subcompact luxury coupe offered in a standalone trim, starting off at a base MSRP of $34,950. For that price, it mainly competes with the Toyota 86 Coupe and the Subaru BRZ Coupe. Available in a single trim, the 2 Series Coupe offers 2 powertrains. It is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine making 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. However, there is a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2 Series Coupe reaches 60 mph from zero in 6.0 seconds with the manual transmission, which gets pumped up to 5.3 seconds with the automatic.
