The loss of braking assistance and ABS functionality can reduce overall braking performance, increasing the crash risk.	Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and 2020-2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia vehicles. Dealers will replace the ABS HCU, free of charge. Should you buy the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia?

The 2020 Alfa Romeo is a fairly reliable car for its segment as it manages to score above-average reliability ratings. According to the NHTSA, the Alfa Romeo has four recalls and only three user complaints, which can be a sigh of relief for potential buyers. Coming to its competition, the 2020 Audi A4 is a better option compared to the Giulia as it offers nicer cabin materials and better fuel economy. The 2020 BMW 3 Series may also be a good option as it offers better features and fuel economy than the Giulia, although Giulia outweighs the 3 series in terms of performance.

Overall the Giulia is a good option if you're looking for a sedan that doesn't compromise on performance, however, it lags behind its competition in terms of interior quality and space.
