Belonging to the subcompact hatchback segment, the 2018 Smart ForTwo carries all the qualities of a true electric vehicle. The Smart Fortwo offers 3 trims. This puts it in direct competition with cars like the Chevrolet Bolt EV, and the Fiat 500e. There aren#39;t any powertrain options to explore here. The Smart ForTwo is equipped with a three-phase synchronous motor setup and a 17.6-kWh kWh battery with a rated power output of 80 horsepower. Through this setup, the ForTwo gets a range of 58 miles. In a straight line, the ForTwo clocks a 0-60 of 11.4 seconds. While the powertrain leaves you devoid of choices, the choice is instead offered through the 10 beautiful colors available for the car.

Buying Advice

The mid-level Passion trim seems like the one that offers the most value for the money, as it adds a pinch of luxury by incorporating features like the heated and power-adjustable mirrors, alloy wheels, contrasting interior upholstery, a height-adjustable driver seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a few more features. On top of that, you can also opt for the Cold Weather package and the Sport package for further enhancements.
