The 2022 Mini Hardtop 4-Door comes in three trim lines namely Classic, Signature, and Iconic. All trims are equipped with the same powertrain consisting of a 1.5 L Inline-3 engine. The standard transmission in all trims is a 6-speed manual gearbox, whereas a 7-speed DCT is optional in the mid and high-level trims. The base Classic trim comes with a basic set of features at a reasonable price. The Signature trim adds more color options along with larger wheels, a moonroof, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Iconic trim is the extreme end of the feature list and comes with the most luxurious interior.
The available packages include a Premium Package which can be equipped in the mid-level Signature trim for a price of $1,250 and comes with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, Heated Steering Wheel, and a Harman/Kardon Premium Sound System. The Signature and Iconic trims could also be equipped with the Driver Assistance Package which comes with Active Cruise Control and Parking Assistant feature. We Recommend
The mid-spec Signature trim with the desired transmission option would be the ideal choice in the 2022 Mini 4-Door lineup. It comes with a great set of extra features and customization options over the base trim while also being much cheaper than the top-end trim. The Signature trim also could be equipped with some packages which are not available for the base trim. For enthusiasts who need, even more, zippier performance along with more power, the higher-end Cooper S model in the same Signature trim would be the best option.
