Overview

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 sedan makes for an excellent contender in the compact sedan. With a single trim on offer, the Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 has a base MSRP of $65,250, competing directly with the Cadillac ATS-V Sedan, the BMW M3 Sedan, and the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Only a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed MCT automatic transmission. Together, they produce 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, the AMG C63 maintains a combined fuel economy of 20 MPG. Mercedes-Benz offers the AMG C63 in 11 stunning colors, with the Iridium Silver Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

The sporty 2016 AMG C 63 is available as a standalone trim and is about as refined as the other Mercedes sedans are. Although it adds performance oriented features such as 18-inch wheels, mechanical limited-slip differential, and a performance software with a lap timer. You can also equip it with one the many available packages, with our recommendation being the Premium 2 package for its dual-mode sport exhaust, race-inspired front sport seats, and a carbon-fiber exterior and interior trim.
