Overview

The 2021 Lexus UX 250h fares well in the subcompact SUV segment. Adding $2,200 to the price of the standard gasoline variant, the Lexus UX 250h hybrid carries a base price of MSRP $36,275 and is offered in 2 trims, reaching a price of MSRP $40,975 for its top trim. The engine on service here is a familiar 2.0L Inline-4 supported by an electric motor. Mated to a CVT automatic, it makes 181 horsepower. The combined fuel economy improves from 32 MPG on the standard gasoline variant to 39 MPG on the hybrid variant, making the increase in sticker price worth it. The performance of the Lexus UX 250h hybrid also improves here, with the car accelerating from 0 to 60 MPH in 8.6 seconds. Lexus offers the same 15 colors for the Lexus UX 250h hybrid.

Buying Advice

The 2021 Lexus UX 250h is the only properly luxurious hybrid SUV in the segment. It competes against other lower-priced non-luxury competitors such as the Honda CR-V Hybrid, Toyota Venza Hybrid, and the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. There are two trims on offer and we recommend the base UX250h trim that is feature-packed and offers excellent value for money.
