2020 GMC Acadia User Complaints and Problems
Mechanical problems:
- There are a few complaints about the auto start/stop mechanism. When stopped on an incline, the delay is so much that the car jerks forward.
- There are complaints regarding power steering failures. However, they sometimes get power assistance back when the car is restarted.
- Many owners have experienced problems with jerking, gears refusing to shift, and other problems that arise from the transmission including the GMC Acadia shift to park issue, in which the car shifts to Park while driving.
