The GMC Acadia is a popular truck-like utility vehicle from General Motors, and it is also the first SUV to be built on a unibody platform as well. The 2013 Acadia comes with some significant updates in terms of styling, list of features, and interior materials along with improvement in its reliability aspect as well. Officially, the current model has seen 111 complaints with 3 recalls to date. The recalls deal with airbag issues and seat belt issues while the other problems are yet to be resolved through recalls. Coming to the complaints, the powertrain, airbags, and electrical system has received the maximum number of complaints while areas such as steering and exterior lighting have also faced a few reports.
The 2013 Acadia is challenged by the Toyota Highlander, the Honda Pilot, and the Chevrolet Traverse.
