Overview

The 2010 Dodge Avenger is a midsize sedan offered in 3 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $20,230. For that price, it mainly competes with the Ford Fusion, Mazda 6, and Nissan Altima. Between 3 trims, the Avenger offers 2 powertrains. The base engine is a 2.4L Inline-4 capable of making 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 235 horsepower-making 3.5L V6. While the Inline-4 is mated to a 4-speed automatic, the V6 is mated to a 6-speed automatic. The Avenge reaches 60 mph from zero in 9.6 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 7.7 seconds with the 3.5L V6. Depending on the powertrain, the Avenge can manage a combined fuel economy between 20 and 24 mpg. While we're on the topic of choices, the 7 striking colors the Avenge comes in really pull you towards itself. With around 2,647 units of the Dodge Avenger available for purchase, we offer a vast inventory for you to choose from.

Buying Advice

Mechanized with front-wheel drive, the 2010 Dodge Avenger is a midsize sedan that with its standard Inline-4 drives as energetic as a sloth. The presence is good, and so is the safety and build quality, but whenever it comes to driving with the standard given engine, it’s better to ride a bicycle rather than drive the Avenger. However, the same sedan, when equipped with the V6, suddenly becomes a Panther. The interior is spacious, but on some patches, the plastic quality is quite mediocre. However, you have the option to upgrade the technology options that are available with the Avenger as optional. Overall, in the price bracket, the 2010 Dodge Avenger is a good choice for point A to point B, although for better performance, get the V6.

This car is very good with gas and very few problems with the engine ever. Best car I've ever had. This car is easy to drive handle and afford. Insurance is affordable and cheap. Wouldn't recommend another vehicle.
