Overview
The 2012 BMW M6 Convertible makes for an excellent contender in the midsize convertible segment. With standalone trim on offer, the BMW M6 has a base MSRP of $113,100. It competes with more expensive rivals such as the Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible, the Mercedes-Benz AMG SL63 Convertible, and the Jaguar XKR-S Convertible. Only a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Together, they produce 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds, the M6 maintains a combined fuel economy of 16 MPG. BMW offers the M6 in 12 stunning colors, with the Space Gray Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.
