Overview

The 2010 Smart ForTwo makes for an excellent contender in the 2dr hatchback. With 3 trims on offer, the 2010 ForTwo has a base MSRP of $16,990, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $17,990, competing directly with the 2010 Honda Fit, and the 2010 Mini Cooper. Only a 1.0L Inline-3 engine is offered, mated to a 5-speed automated manual. Together, they produce 70 horsepower and 68 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 14.1 seconds, the ForTwo maintains a combined fuel economy of 36 MPG. Smart offers the ForTwo in 2 stunning colors, with the Black being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

Mechanized with an Inline-3 under the hood, the 2010 Smart ForTwo hatchback is an excellent small car with which you will never face an issue regarding parking. The size fits every spot. However, small it looks from the outside, the Smart ForTwo is spacious too, seating both the driver and co-driver comfortably, with ample headroom, shoulder room, and legroom. An ample cargo area is also available. Along with these, when this 70-hp Smart delivers a really peppy performance and astonishing fuel economy, then there is nothing better than this. However, compared to others in the same category, the 2010 Smart ForTwo is expensive. But if the quoted price is not much of an issue to you, just get the car. Having one in such a crowded city is nothing better than bliss.
