The 2012 Nissan 370Z makes for an excellent contender in the compact coupe class. With 2 trims on offer, the Nissan 370Z has a base MSRP of $32,280, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $38,280, competing directly with the more expensive Audi TT S. Buyers can also consider rivals from the midsize coupe segment such as Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 and the Chevrolet Camaro SS within the same price range. Only a 3.7L V6 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and rev-match comes as an optional fitment. Together, they produce 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, the 370Z maintains a combined fuel economy of 21 MPG. Nissan offers the 370Z in 7 stunning colors, with the Monterey Blue being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

If performance is your only priority, the base trim would be a perfect choice, as it offers all the necessary features you’d expect in a $30,000 car. With that being said, if you crave luxury, just go for the top level without thinking twice which adds leather and faux suede upholstery, heated four-way power seats, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, and so forth for an extra $6,000.
