BMW just announced a BMW M3 MT Final Edition for the Japanese market to commemorate the 35th anniversary of BMW's first DTM win. However, this “Final Edition” also marks the demise of manual transmission from the BMW M3. Based on the pre-LCI M3, the M3 MT has not been announce for the American or European market yet. As for the Japanese market, BMW has started accepting orders and will continue to do so till March 27 while deliveries can be expected to begin after the second quarter of 2024.
Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, the M3 MT produces 473 hp and 404 lb-ft of torque. As for the design, the first thing that will catch your attention is the gold alloy wheels which pay tribute to BMW’s win in the German Touring Car Championship. The 19-inch front wheel and 20-inch rear wheels also come with red M compound brake calipers. Buyers will also have the option to choose from three exterior body colors which include Black Sapphire metallic, M Brookly Gray metallic, and, Alpine White.

BMW will be producing the M3 MT as a limited edition model, with only 150 units to be rolled out. Moreover, BMW plans on producing 50 units per color and will resort to a lottery system if the total orders are more than 150. As for the price, the Japanese market will offer the M3 MT with a price tag of ¥14.2 million (roughly $95,845).
