The 2025 INFINITI QX80 made its public debut at the 2024 New York International Auto Show and it looks like the Japanese automakers have completely reset the full-size luxury SUV. The INFINITI QX80 is the first model out of the four from INFINITI’s product renaissance and will be the brand's flagship model. Available in six trims, here is what the QX80 has to offer.
For the 2025 models, QX80 drops its V8 and instead receives a standard VR35DDTT 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine for all models. This powerplant is capable of producing 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque which is an increase of 50 horsepower and 103 lb-ft from the current QX80. Also, the engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. "The all-new INFINITI QX80's advanced new 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine, delivers the highest torque output in our corporation's history," said Ivan Espinosa, senior vice president, Chief Planning Officer.
The INFINITI QX80 is the first one to showcase the latest evolution of the INFINITI design. The front-facia receives the newest iteration of the signature INFINITI double-arch grille which is said to be inspired by the organic shapes of a bamboo forest. The QX80 also gets narrow, multi-element LED daytime running lights. The rear of the QX80 also receives full-width LED lighting that features over 300 LEDs. As for the color options, customers can choose from seven color schemes including a new INFINITI color called Dynamic Metal.

The interior of the QX80 is also quite luxurious and functional. The QX80’s dashboard gets two 14.3-inch displays. Additionally, there is also a 9-inch touchscreen located below the infotainment for controlling climate functions, front seating heating or cooling operations, and selection of drive mode. Luxury in the QX80 is also worthy of attention. The cabin is abundant in leather appointments, wood trims, and suede elements to ensure absolute comfort and luxury. A 64-color Personalized Ambient Lighting takes luxury and ambiance to another level.
The 2025 INFINITI QX80 price starts at $84,445 and goes up to $112,590 for the top trim “Autograph”. The car will make its way to the dealerships by summer this year.
