The CT5-V and its Blackwing variant have been doing great business since its introduction and to keep that up, Cadillac has refreshed its super sedans for 2025. Check out what updates these sedans have received.
The Cadillac CT5-V And Blackwing Updated For 2025

It is no surprise that Cadillac will also be joining the electrification wave with a bunch of EVs announced to arrive at the showrooms pretty soon. But looks like Cadillac isn't done with its ICE performance cars yet. Cadillac has introduced its sports sedans CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing for the 2025 year with updated design cues. As per General Motors, both the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing will be produced at the GM Lansing Grand River factory. Check out what changes. Check out what new features the Cadillac has to offer.

The first thing that pops into mind when you see these V-badged sedans is their performance. However, the 2025 model will not bring any new engine or performance figures. Retaining its previous engine, the CT5-V, the sedan will be powered by the same 3.0-liter turbocharged V6. This engine will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission that will generate 360 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. This is the same case for the CT5-V Blackwing as well. The Blackwing retains its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that churns out 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque.

It is the design where Cadillac has done most of the work and it's pretty evident. At the very first glance, you'll be able to notice a more meaner and more aggressive front fascia compared to the last generation. These updates include new stacked LED headlamps and a new grille. An even closer look and you'll be able to differentiate between the CT5-V and the Blackwing. The Blackwing gets slightly different headlights with lower air intakes.

The interiors of both the CT5-V and the Blackwing have also received updates. These updates include a 33-inch LED screen and restyled physical climate controls. Moreover, the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) has received changes like a new interface and graphics, the "Lap Analyzer" tool, and the "Speed Tips" tool. Overall, while the release date and the pricing for the sedans have not been announced yet, Cadillac will commence its production this summer.
