The third generation of Passport was launched in 2019, and it looks like Honda is gearing up for a major overhaul of its famed crossover.
While the majority of specs regarding the 2026 Honda Passport are still under wraps, there are a couple of details Honda has confirmed that put a big smile on our faces.

The teaser images preview the Passport “Trailsport”. The images show the 2026 Passport doing some pretty commendable off-road stuff with steep arrival and departure angles. It even waded through a lake and was doing donuts in an undisclosed desert.
Honda says that the 2026 Passport Trailsport will come with all-terrain tires and road-tuned suspension as standard
A 3.5 L V6 and i-VTM4 AWD system will also be provided. The exterior details are hard due to the eye-catching orange-white camo but expect a thorough redesign inside and out.
Just like the current passport, expect several trim levels to accompany along with an option for a hybrid powertrain. The confirmed V6 engine will be likely paired with a 10-speed automatic found in the Honda Pilot. Affordable FWD versions of the 2026 Honda Passport could be unveiled later in 2025.
