While the GranTurismo is already up for sale since 2022, Maserati has plans to release a convertible version of the electric sports car named “GranCabrio” which is expected to be released later this year. A press release by Maserati also stated that the GranCabrio will arrive with an ICE engine as well.
Under the hood of the GranTurismo Folgore sits three electric motors that deliver a power output of 716 hp and 995 lb-ft of torque. The sports car achieves a range of up to 280 miles, thanks to its 92.5kWh battery that also allows for charging speeds of up to 270kW. Moreover, when it comes to speed, the Folgore is ahead of its competition like the Taycan and RS e-Tron GT, going 0 to 60 in a mere 2.7 seconds.

Moving on to its features, you get a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.2-inch digital driver’s display, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera system, and voice commands. However, the GranTurismo is nowhere close to an affordable purchase. It starts with a whopping price tag of £180,000, which by the way is £50,000 more than the ICE GranTurismo. Additionally, customizations and personalizations are also quite expensive on this Maserati as just a paint job could cost up to £27,000.
Already available for purchase in European markets, its U.S. arrival has not been announced yet.
