Alfa Romeo just announced the release date of its first-ever EV, the Milano. The brand showed its upcoming compact crossover in bright red camouflage.
Here’s What We Know About The Upcoming Alfa Romeo Milano

As the electrification era takes over, Alfa Romeo has entered the party with its compact EV, the Milano. The Italian automaker dropped some images straight from the historic Balacco test track in Italy. This bright-red camo-draped EV SUV will make it to the American markets by the 10th of April this year. This compact crossover based on the Jeep Avenger will be the brand’s smallest yet fun-to-drive offering so far. The Milano will be available with a full-electric drivetrain upon its introduction. This will be followed by ICE variants.

The Milano will be developed by Domenico Bagnasco who has also been the mind behind the 8C, the Giulia GTA, and the 4C. This compact crossover will be built on the Stellantis' e-CMP platform and will be sharing similar specs to the car it is based on, the Jeep Avenger. This means the Milano will likely get a 54kWh battery which will allow for a range of up to 250 miles. As for the ICE variants, the Milano will feature a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder, also found in the Jeep Avenger.

It is also important to note that, unlike other Stellantis brands, the Milano will come with more power. This crossover will also be the entry-level option for the Alfa Romeo brand. Moving on to its release, there is no announcement whether the Milano will make it to the American markets or not but based on the specs of the car, we think it most probably won't. Priced at under £40,000, the Milano should reach the showrooms in June.
