Update 27 March 2024- Mini Cooper has been launched stateside and will be available in 2 trims. The "Classic" is priced around $32,200 while the preferred variant is around $34,600.
Introducing the electric E and SE models of the 2025 Cooper last year, Mini is set on its way towards complete electrification by 2030. However, it looks like the British brand has still not given up on its ICE engines yet as it just revealed the gasoline-powered version of the 2025 Cooper. The fourth generation of the Cooper will now offer two fuel-powered variants which include a Cooper C and a Cooper S.

Of the two variants, the Cooper S will arrive first. Priced at $33,195 including a destination charge of $995, the Cooper S boasts a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine. This produces a power output of 201 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. The Cooper C on the other hand comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine which generates 154 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, for the fourth generation, Mini has dropped a diesel engine option and manual transmissions.

Moving on to features, the ICE Cooper retains the 9.4-inch OLED infotainment from the electric variant. Below the circular infotainment is a pod that groups physical controls for the parking brake, drive-mode selector, shifter, engine start/stop switch, and volume control. The Cooper also gets a panoramic glass roof. On the exterior, customers have the option to choose between 17-inch and 18-inch wheels along with three roof colors. Reshaped LED headlights and new matrix taillights are also capable of custom lighting.
Mini Cooper will start producing the Cooper C and Cooper S from March and July respectively.
