Update 5 March 2024: Infiniti has just confirmed the engine specifications of 2025 INFINITI QX80. The SUV will be fully revealed by March 20 and will have a VR35DDT 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine good for 450 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with a 40 percent wider ratio allowing for more comforts and mileage while cruising on highways. The teaser shows engine redlining at 6000 rpm which may change depending on the drive mode. Infiniti also confirmed " Electronic Air Suspension and Dynamic Digital Suspension technologies" that will lower the car when it's unlocked to allow for much more effortless ingress and egress.
The upcoming 2025 INFINITI QX80 based on the QX Monograph Concept is all set to make its debut on 20 March 2024. To keep us entertained, Infiniti has collaborated with digital artist Kaoru Tanaka to create a digital camouflage for the QX-80 that hid its actual body but accentuated some body lines and a few details that were picked up by our eagle-eyed Infiniti fans.

The most noticeable change about the upcoming 2025 INFINITI QX80 visible in the video is its tail lights that glow up sequentially at the end. The car in the video seems to be the “Autograph” trim, which historically has been the creme la creme of the Infiniti model range. The full-sized SUV should have some sort of hybridization to keep up with the emission regulations. The car will be heavily inspired by the QX Monograph Concept and will be built alongside its corporate siblings like the Nissan Armada. Infiniti also revealed last month that the SUV will have a premium Klipsch audio setup. Stay tuned to Infiniti’s YT channel as more episodes are bound to come revealing more interesting bits about the car.
The current QX-80 comes with an NA V8 engine that makes 400 hp and got a mild interior refresh in 2021 that included an updated infotainment system.
