The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is a three-row SUV that started its second generation in 2020 mode year. Now it is getting a makeover for 2024. There is no confirmed date when the 2024 Aviator will debut but we expect Lincoln to drop it soon in the US market given how it is being flaunted to the public during company test drives.
2024 Lincoln Aviator Spotted Without Any Camo

Lincoln is taking a different approach to publicize and promote the 2024 Aviator SUV. Unlike other brands, it allows the 2024 Aviator to roam around without camouflage. However, this is the second time, spy cameras have caught the upcoming Avaitor naked.

We believe Lincoln wants to flaunt and excite consumers in a different way by just revealing things instead of putting a curtain over them. That being said, the Aviator has been a successful model for Lincoln. It sold 21,977 in 2022 which was 5% higher compared to 2021. In 2023, till May, around 7,972 Aviators have been sold to Americans. However, there is a 15.7% decline in deliveries if we compare it with the last year’s stats during the same period.

Having said that, just with one glance, we can see that the exterior design has been refreshed. However, changes on the front end are more apparent where Lincoln has smoothed out the nose instead of keeping it in a more boxy shape like the 2023 Aviator model. Furthermore, the grille is rounder than before and has LED running lights stretched toward it.

The headlights also look sharper. Moreover, the grille has a metallic finish and a vertical oval mesh design. Additionally, the Air curtains have been placed on the outer edge. Meanwhile, a trapezoidal outline on the lower front end is also one of many subtle styling changes.

This midsize SUV from Lincoln has less dramatic changes on the rear side. Lincoln has only flirted at the bottom of the rear bumper. Besides this, a new finish can be observed on the full-width taillights. Overall, the 2024 Lincoln Aviator SUV’s design is less complicated and easy to understand. It also looks sharper, smoother, and cleaner compared to the outgoing Aviator.

In case you are wondering if the interior has been updated or not, you will have to wait. There are no cabin images of the 2024 Aviator yet. However, we expect the 2024 Aviator to borrow the latest center stack with a tablet-link screen from its smaller two-row midsize sibling, the Nautilus SUV.

As far as powertrains are concerned, any major changes are unlikely. Currently, the 2023 Lincoln Aviator can be ordered with either a gas or a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 engine churns out 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque.

On the other hand, you get 494 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque from the plug-in hybrid system which has the same engine setup but is connected to a 100-hp electric motor and a 13.6-kWh battery pack. At the same time, the Aviator plug-in hybrid offers an electric range of 21 miles.

There is also no information on the 2024 Lincoln Aviator’s price. The 2023 Aviator starts at $53,340. Given the facelift for 2024, we can expect a price hike of $2,500 to $3,500.
