Going back in time to November 2, 1983, when Plymouth Voyager rolled off the assembly line in the Windsor Assembly plant in Ontario as a 1984 model. The minivan segment can never be complete without the Chrysler Pacifica name and this year sees the 40th anniversay edition to commemorate 40 years of the nameplate.
Since then it has been it has been the forefront of the segment to bring innovative features. Also, the latest 2024 Chrysler Pacifica has made the way for more than 15 million Chrysler minivans sold to date. Thanks to its incredible interior capacity and comfort, the minivan have been extensively utilised for long route travels and as workorses.

The Chrysler CEO, Chris Feuell “For 40 Years, Stellantis minivans have been along for the ride, helping families and road trippers create a lifetime of unforgettable memories”. He also confirmed in a statement that the Chrysler brand is moving forward to an all-electric portfolio in 2028.

Coming back to the star here, the Chrysler Pacifica 2024 lineup has received a few updates for its 40th Anniversary Edition. The new minivan now gets a Sepia interior color option for the Pacifica Pinnacle model. The exterior also gets two newly added exterior paint color options called the Red Hot and Baltic Gray.
Also, the minivan now includes the Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS) as part of the Unconnect 5 Platform. This is a safety feature that will provide critical information to the occupants about nearby emergency vehicles and roadway hazards adding another layer of safety for all.

The revamped plug-in hybrid van is offered in two different variants for 2024, the Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Select and Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Pinnacle. The latter trim is considered the safest van in its class, and also it comes with awesome features like the Stow’n Go seating and storage system, Uconnect Theatre, dual hands-free sliding doors, and it has the first electrified powertrain in the segment.
Also, recently the Chrystler has marked the 100,000th 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, proving the acceptance of the plu-in hybrid minivan in the market today. The 2024 Pacifica and Pacifica Plug-in hybrid is reported to hit the dealer's floor in October. Also, the launch of the new model will keep the Chrysler name relevant until they shift completely to electricity.
