2023 Mazda CX-5 Preferred

Equipped with the same 187-hp Inline-4 engine, the CX-5 Preferred takes 8.6 seconds for the 0-60 mph sprint. The model also comes standard with an AWD setup. 

2023 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition

Priced at $4,400 more than the base variant, the 2023 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition draws power from its regular 2.5L engine. The car needs 8.5 seconds for the 0-60 mph run, courtesy of the AWD drivetrain. 

2023 Mazda CX-5 Premium

The 2023 CX- Premium finishes its 0-60 mph sprint in 8.6 seconds thanks to the 187-hp 4-cylinder engine. As for the transmission, the variant features the same 6-speed gearbox as its base version. 

2023 Mazda CX-5 Premium Plus

Premium Plus is the costliest variant of the 2023 CX-5, which comes with the same base 2.5L engine that makes 187 horsepower. It also takes 8.7 seconds for the 0-60 mph run. 

2023 Mazda CX-5 Turbo

The 2023 Mazda CX-5 Turbo is the first variant of the SUV that boasts a turbocharged Inline-4 engine producing 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Transmission remains the same but the 0-60 mph run takes only 6.6 seconds, identical to Edmunds’ official testing. 

2023 Mazda CX-5 Turbo Signature

Turbo Signature is the highest trim of the 2023 Mazda CX-5 which also features the turbocharged 227-hp engine. Courtesy of the 6-speed automatic transmission, the SUV takes 6.7 seconds for the 0-60 mph sprint.
