The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo makes for an excellent contender in the midsize coupe class. With 2 trims on offer, the Lamborghini Gallardo has a base MSRP of $191,900, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $241,200, competing directly with the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Aston Martin DB9, and the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Only a 5.2L V10 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The higher trims come with a single clutch 6-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 550 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, the Gallardo maintains a combined fuel economy of 16 MPG. Lamborghini offers the Gallardo in 13 stunning colors, with the Arancio Borealis being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

Well, it’s a bit hard to choose between the trim levels on a Gallardo. Although the LP560-4 and LP570-4 have a class of their own. The base level LP550-2 is the one that gives the best driving experience overall. Despite being slightly down on power, the LP550-2 offers a more engaging and immersive experience for the driver, all thanks to the rear-wheel drive system. On the features front, both LP550-2 and LP560-4 come with the same set of standard features.
