Overview

Competing in the midsize wagon, the 2012 Ford Flex goes up directly against the Buick Enclave, the Mazda CX-9, and the GMC Acadia. Spread across 4 trims, the 2012 Ford Flex starts off at a base price of MSRP $29,465 and carries on to $43,105. Not all trims are built equal, however, as there are 2 powertrains on offer. The standard engine is a 3.5L V6 engine rated for 262 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. Flex gives you a towing capacity of 4,500 pounds. An optional 3.5L turbocharged V6 engine is also offered, with an output of 355 horsepower. A 6-speed automatic transmission is offered alongside both engines and is available in 8 enticing colors.

Buying Advice

Although the base trims are well equipped, we recommend looking at the Limited trim, which adds features such as xenon headlights, LED taillights, and a power tailgate.

              Very bad used car!

Pros - ["Love the size!", "Love the color!"]

Cons - ["Hate the gas milage!", "Absolutely do not like the radio!"]

It would be a really great car if I didnt get ripped off from the seller! Charged me $2100 and I have a lot wrong with it the Caytilac converter to start with and one of the back seat belts dont work and the whole inside was left dirty smelled like nasty old cigarettes and rust on it was not worth what he was charging for it and half the stuff that was wrong with it he did not even tell me about ...
