The 2018 Ferrari Portofino Convertible makes for an excellent contender in the midsize luxury convertible. With just one trim on offer, the Ferrari Portofino has a base MSRP of $210,783, competing directly with the McLaren 570s Spider, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, and the Audi R8 Spyder V10. Only a 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Together, they produce 591 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds, the Portofino maintains a combined fuel economy of 18 MPG. Ferrari offers the Portofino in 14 stunning colors, with the Rosso Corsa being a particular favorite of ours.

The Ferrari Portofino is a supercar built to crush continents rather than a machine built for racetracks. However, it does have the Racing DNA in terms of performance and handling.
