A base price of MSRP of $30,595 gets you a 6.0L V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Despite the price going up to $37,495, this single powertrain is found in all 2 trims. This engine produces 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, achieving a 0-60 of 7.5 seconds, and is offered as both RWD and 4WD. The Silverado 3500HD Regular Cab offers only an 8'2” cargo bed, with 4,625 pounds of maximum payload capacity. It also offers a healthy towing capacity of 13,000 pounds.

Based on our opinion, the mid-level offers the right amount of convenient features for its price tag, by adding heated outside mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, full power accessories, darker-tinted rear windows, 18-inch alloy wheels, CD/MP3 player, keyless entry, carpeted floor coverings, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth seats, and driver-side lumbar seat adjustments to the standard equipment list.
