The NHTSA website does not have any complaints registered about Audi RS7 till now. However, we did take time to trace some issues and problems related to the vehicle in the respective year.
Electrical Issues
-
Inaccurate fuel count in digital instrument cluster
Electrical malfunction can be a serious cause for depriving the instrument cluster to function properly when the fuel count in the gas tank is low. Such issues show up when the vehicle’s electrical circuit malfunctions stopping the digital cluster to respond properly. The Audi manufacturer should look into the issue and fix the electrical fault and replace the electrical unit connecting the digital cluster soon.
Miscellaneous Problems
-
Faulty rear axle alignment triggering life risk
Faulty rear axle alignment can be a reason for a tire to blow out causing tire puncture, causing sufficient damage to the calipers if the vehicle is at high speed. The manufacturers should ask the dealers to inspect the rear axles and find the reason behind the issue thereby replacing it with new tires if needed.
Safety Problems
-
RearSeat Belt safety retractors
Faulty rear seat belts might be a serious concern for disengaging the automatic locking retractors early leading to the deactivation of the seat belts. Such issues might stop the child restraint system to perform normally thereby failing to secure the seats properly. The dealers should take these issues into consideration and manufacturers should instruct them to fix and repair the issues soon, by fixing or replacing the seat belts.

Should you Buy a 2021 Audi RS7?
Honestly, there isn’t much reason for not preferring to buy a a used Audi RS7 luxury full-size sedan if the buyers have the budget. The car is going to be a smart pick in the segment due to its huge market popularity. However, its 8 recalls and major complaints on problematic child restrainment systems, faulty side airbag issues initially appeared to be an advantage for its prime competitors to challenge the market presence of Audi, but the RS7 manufacturers barely gave that scope to its arch rivals.
It did not take the brand to issue a quick recall and ensured all these problems are replaced. The brand also instructed the dealers to repair the vehicles with rear axle alignment issues and replace them if necessary, which the dealers did and resolved the complaint once and for all.
Now, if someone is planning to purchase a 2021 Audi RS7 that is free from all of these issues discussed above, we would always suggest initiating the purchase if t the resale value suits their budget.
