Similar to last year, the 2024 Ford Expedition gets only minor updates this year. There is a Wild Green paint color, USB Type-C charging ports for the second row, and standard front tow hooks for all-wheel-drive trims with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow package. Ford has also reduced the complimentary Connected Navigation subscription from 3 years to just 1 year. The 2024 Ford Expedition price starts at $55,525 excluding the $1,895 destination fee and a $645 acquisition fee. The changes for this year come at a price hike of $1,370 as compared to last year. The Expedition for the 2024 model year has already been released and is available for sale in 6 trim configurations along with the long-wheelbase Expedition Max models. The standard engine is a 3.5L V6 engine rated for 380 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque which can do the 0-60 MPH run in 6.1 seconds.
This engine with the 2024 Ford Expedition also gives you a towing capacity of 9,300 lbs. The second engine on offer is a 3.5L V6 engine that has been tweaked to produce 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. There is also a more powerful 3.5L V6 engine, with an output of 440 horsepower. Competing in the full-size SUV, the 2024 Ford Expedition goes up against other notable names in the class, like the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Jeep Wagoneer, the Nissan Armada, and the Toyota Sequoia.
