Overview
While many of us have been waiting for a mid-cycle refresh, the new Chevrolet Tahoe is at least a year away. Therefore, the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe carries forward unchanged only with the deletion of one exterior color - Auburn Metallic. Last updated back in 2021, the Chevy Tahoe has seen very few changes since then. Check out the video below by "Ben Hardy" and find out more about the Tahoe full-size SUV in real-world conditions.
The 2024 Tahoe is yet to be released and the production is expected to start by November 2023 at the GM Arlington plant in Texas and should hit the showrooms by the end of the year. Prices for the Chevrolet Tahoe 2024 are not revealed as well but we expect a minor price hike over the previous model year and should start at $55,000. It will be available for sale in 6 trim configurations with an option for a 4WD drivetrain.
Not all trims are built equal, however, as there are 3 powertrains on offer. Starting off is the 5.3L L84 V8 base engine producing 355 hp and 383 lb-ft. One can also opt for another bigger 6.2L L84 V8 which produces 420 horsepower and 483 lb-ft of torque, this engine gets you a towing capacity of 9,000 pounds. The third engine is a diesel 3.0L LZ0 Duramax inline-6 which generates 270 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. All models get a 10-speed automatic as standard. In its segment, it faces competition from the likes of Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia.
