Overview

The 2013 Chevrolet Impala makes for an excellent contender in the fullsize sedan class. With 3 trims on offer, the Chevrolet Impala has a base MSRP of $25,860, with prices going all the way up to an MSRP of $30,400, competing directly with the Toyota Avalon, the Ford Taurus, and the Nissan Maxima. Only a 3.6L V6 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 300 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, the Chevrolet Impala maintains a combined fuel economy of 22 MPG. Chevrolet offers the Impala in 6 stunning colors, with the Crystal Red Tintcoat being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

The 2013 Chevrolet Impala offers a powerful and efficient engine and suits better with the LTZ sedan trim offering an LPO weather protection package ($410) that includes a front and rear splash guard, weather floor mats, etc.

Cons - ["There's no customization for it", "Feels like it could or should be better on gas", "Could be a bit more comfortable to sit in"]
