The 2020 Toyota Highlander hybrid is an excellent choice for three-row SUVs in terms of fuel economy and Toyota's synonymity with reliability. The vehicle has a classy look from the outside, as well as an opulent feel to it while sitting in it. It is generally reliable, with little to no problems being faced by the buyers, with not only this particular model but also of almost every other model from the brand. The 2020 iteration has 1 registered complaint; being that the tire thread wore out unexpectedly. There has also been recalling made to some models of the Highlander Hybrid on the basis of "potential airbag malfunctions". The ToyotaSUV competes with the likes of the Subaru Crosstrek hybrid, the Ford Escape hybrid, and the Honda Cr-V hybrid.

Should you buy the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Most definitely the 2020 Toyota Highlander is an optimal choice among the hybrid and electric SUVs. It has comfort, style, a list of features, and very few problems (according to the data provided with NHTSA). Why wouldn’t you go for it? Just the one recall and a 5-star safety rating with the NHTSA is a very good indicator. The competition from Subaru or Ford has much more complaints, with only the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid coming close to giving competition to our Highlander hybrid. As always, inspect your SUV as thoroughly as possible before purchase, get the warranty from the dealership, and have good insurance as soon as possible. This will ensure a pleasant experience with the Highlander hybrid as long as you own it.
