Overview

What strikes our mind when thinking about a worthy competitor of Ferrari? Yes, it is the Lamborghini that gains penetrating performance with not so lesser prices. The Lamborghini Huracan exhibits Its highly aerodynamic styling, pleasant exhaust notes, and valor strength from the naturally aspirated V10 powerhouse. Its magnificent acceleration makes it compete with many of its rivals in the class it studies. Huracan can be configured either in a Coupe or as a Spyder– Lamborghini's term for the convertible vehicle. Both the personalization covers rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drivetrains leaning upon the wealth of the enthusiast. This supercar not just shakes the track, but is also a very civic machine when steering it onto the city lanes.

Buying Advice

If one is paying over $200k, then bringing additional packages will not be a decision to think twice about. Ahead of all that, the sheer amount of paint options available suits the terrible performance of Huracan. Standard 19-inch wheels might be brought to a larger size with tons of braking caliper shades to compliment the clear coat painted on the body. Among other things, the Lifestyle and Driver package includes a handy lifting system to prevent front-end damage, smartphone integration, carbon-ceramic brakes, and adaptive dampers.

Comparative Analysis against Competition

For 2022, the Lamborghini Huracan remained unruffled. However, the Italian manufacturer has bought a new limited edition model called Tecnica–which is reviewed separately. It is noted that this limited edition Lamborghini will be the second-to-last model before the Huracan era comes to an end. The mighty supercar races with industry legends like Ferrari F8 Tributo, the Nissan GT-R Nismo, and the Audi R8 V10.

Features

The Lamborghini Huracan has one trim available. This is powered by an unleaded V10 engine that fetches 602 horsepower. A fuel-friendly supercar is a phrase that does not use in the category, the Lamborghini Huracan belongs to. The car is made for performance, no matter if it gives a combined mileage of 15 mpg. When going in the city, it is 13 mpg, and on the highways, it is 18. After fuelling completely the fuel tank of 21.9 gallons., it can complete 284.7 miles when revolving around the city. Despite producing the highest horsepower, the Ferrar F8 Tributo brings more appealing mileage than Lamborghini with extra mpg. It also gains the highest range overall Lamborghini Huracan mpg resembles the Audi R8. The Lamborghini Huracan fuel tank is larger than that of the Audi R8 and the Nissan GT-R Nismo, while the Audi has the shortest fuel capacity.

Interior
9.9/10

Inside the Huracan, the cockpit is filled with several controls and layouts reminding us of an actual airplane’s cabin. The sports-oriented bucket seats are highly comfortable. Door panels are equally large to match the dimensions of the vehicle, but anyone surfing first time into the cabin, surely complains about the headroom. The interior is not that airy, and it takes time for someone to get used to it. The door panels cover high-quality leather material mixed with suede upholstery in some components. It contains window controls and seat adjustments. Highly bolstered seats catch you calmly when the bursting engine punches back. They are supportive. The electronically adjustable suspensions pay huge respect to people seated inside on uneven road conditions. The dashboard mainly contains four easily visible AC vents that are suited to a 3D structure. The steering wheel looks serious and is grippy. It holds a separate lever in red just to alter the driving modes of the car. The Center console appoints a center armrest just to show, it exhibits movable functionality to cover or open the little storage area hidden underneath. The console is tied up with various controls and buttons. The engine ignition button popping in red accents border is something one would notice very first. The Standard 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen rests with more switches over it. Driving a supercar and asking about the trunk space is something that does not have a healthy relationship.

GT-R Nismo emerges as the only supercar with a seating of four. Interior space and trunk space of the Lamborghini Huracan and the Ferrari F8 Tibuto are not available, but they are offered with one of the most comfortable seats in the competition. Trunk space on the Huracan is one the least in the segment. Audi R8 brings a lesser amount of legroom than the Nissan GT-R Nismo. Even it also gains lesser trunk space.

How intuitive is the 2022 Lamborghini Huracan Infotainment system?

The infotainment system on a supercar is barely a topic someone talks about. Still, Lamborghini brings a standard 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen on the Huracan that deals with various functions like audio system, climate control, or other media system. Ahead of the Apple CarPlay integration, the Lambo also brings Amazon Alexa compatibility. It works as a voice assistant, but who cares about being busy commanding various tasks instead of enjoying the pleasing notes of the car? Shoppers keeping android phones will need to use Bluetooth to stream their music.

Salient features of the infotainment system–

  • 8.4-inch vertically mounted touchscreen
  • Resolution of 1200x1920px
  • Muti-gesture controls
  • Connected services
  • 3D navigation system
  • Real-time traffic information

  • Radio
  • 4-speaker audio system
  • USB connection
  • The 12.3-inch digital instrument panel
  • Speed-compensated volume control
  • Audio input jack
  • Window grid antenna
  • Bluetooth wireless phone connectivity
  • 2 LCD monitors in the front

Exterior
9.9/10

A super sleek design promoting the aerodynamics of the car. The sloping exterior of the Huracan is something to let the enthusiasts drool over it. A highly slippery hood engages a premium unleaded V10 engine. The LED headlights are forged into it and gain the W shape enlightenment. The Lamborghini logo seating just below the bonnet tip roars. The front spoiler gains several crisscross structures, all trying their best to let the air in to cool down the anger of the engine. The front spoiler is so attached to the ground that it creates complications for the drivers to handle the car precisely on speed bumps and potholes. The rear profile is as smooth as climbing a steep road and slipping from its peak. Two large 19-inch wheels with hexagonal structures can be searched easily with closed eyes. They contain front tires of the dimension P245/35YR19 and P305/35YR19 on the rear wheels. The Lambo can be painted in over 70 palettes, we prefer the mamba green shade. Huge rearview side mirrors, an integrated door handle complete side profile. More air intakes beside the rear wheels to cool down the brakes. The rear end is as usual like last year's Lambo. Horizontally placed Y-shaped tail lights, two exhaust tips, an aggressive rear diffusor, and the Lamborghini logo are the components that adorn the rear profile of the Huracan.

GT-R Nismo brings the longest wheelbase of any car in our comparison. Lamborghini Huracan's wheelbase length is minor in all, but its body measures longer than that of the Audi R8. F8 Tributo is the lightest supercar that shares a wheelbase with Audi. GT-R Nismo portrays the most height difference as it gets the highest of all. The Huracan is the vehicle most attracted to the ground.

Characteristics of the exterior styling–

  • 19-inch Cast alloy wheels with dual 5-spoke design
  • Tire mobility kit
  • Clearcoat paint

  • Body-colored rear bumper
  • Black body insert and rocker panel extensions
  • Black window trim

Safety

Even after holding a six-digit price tag, the Lamborghini Huracan misses many of the essential driver assistance features that are offered on a normal vehicle. Besides that, it possesses a lot of performance assistance that supports the driver in maintaining controls when running this vehicle at three-digit speeds. Lamborghini stability control uses automatic computer-based braking individually on all four wheels to assist the driver in steering the car properly in critical situations.

Salient features of the safety system on Huracan–

  • Electronic stability control
  • ABS and driveline traction control
  • Side impact beams
  • Dual-stage driver and passenger front-mounted airbags
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Tire-specific low tire pressure warning

Competition

  • 2022 Lamborghini Huracan vs. 2022 Ferrari F8 Tributo

This Ferrari vs. Lamborghini battle seems to be standing at a place. It is neither declined on either side. For less money, the Lamborghini sends less power. By charging extra, the Ferrari assorts a huge gap in horsepower. Surprisingly, both of these vehicles gain speed in the same time frame. Ferrari is a bit faster when doing the quarter-mile run. It also ascertains more top speed. More curb weight of the Huracan makes it a bit weak vehicle.

  • 2022 Lamborgini Huracan vs. 2022 Nissan GT-R Nismo

The GT-R is powered by a twin-turbo V6 that offers similar strength, but it stays ahead of the Huracan by generating more amount of torque. Due to more top speed and lighter body, the Huracan is faster. Nissan GT-R Nismo offers seating of four with its all-wheel drive drivetrain. The cockpit of the Huracan is engineered to acclimate two people and is rear-wheel driven by default. Nissan sends bigger wheels on the GT-R Nismo.

  • 2022 Lamborghini Huracn vs. 2022 Audi R8 V10

Audi looks more like a small performance sedan as it brings a preferentially stylish look. With a gap of some thousand dollars, Audi sends almost the exact engine output that one would expect in Huracan. Lamborghini makes the gap by equipping the Huracan with more top speed and better quarter-mile and zero-to-sixty mph figures. Audi takes care of the shopper using Android devices by offering Android Auto connectivity. Both pair with seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, but Audi runs with an all-wheel drive system

Final Verdict

Lamborghini Huracan is one of the most sold Lambos. Getting it into your garage is a sane decision, especially looking toward the end of this vehicle’s era. Its powerful engine makes insane power to bring it among the few cars making zero-to-sixty under the three-second mark. Super stylish design with an array of customization options is worth this supercar. If you are hungry for horsepower, then the F8 Tributo might be the most suitable Ferrari option for you. Searching for a Japanese supercar, the Nissan GT-R Nismo impresses you with its terrific sound. Audi R8 V10 is one of the most stylish supercars the manufacturer has ever produced.
